Year-End Reflection

The end of the year is a time to set goals for the coming year and a time for reflection on the year that just passed. What went well? What didn’t? What lessons were learned? Those are all good questions for anyone to ask about their business and career.

It is also a chance to reflect on the good that you have done. Financial advisors help people change their lives which is something to celebrate every year.

By using stats from your 401(k) CRM you can share a positive story with your colleagues about some of the ways your team has helped your participants this year.

Here are an example of some stats you can pull from Wallet1000:

64 people helped ensure their family's security in the event of a tragedy by completing a will.

156 people's future selves are going to be thanking them for maxing out their 401(k) contributions. 398 people increased their contributions.

258 people put their debt payment plan into action and paid off their smallest credit card balance.

138 people insured their income against an accident by getting disability insurance.

884 people received their personalized financial plan.

136 people started their children on the path to college by opening a college savings account.

These stats represent real people whose lives have been positively impacted by your efforts. Spend a moment with that. (I like to imagine those kids as they leave for college–car filled with boxes, kids filled with excitement.)

How many people can you help next year?
